Somerset is currently developing Stages
2,3 and 4. They have gone down the route of setting up junior
clubs across the county all playing in a Somerset Junior League.
Each club has a Development Officer who is in charge of establishing
the club and making it sustainable.

Cornwall has run both officiating and
coaching courses to help develop the resources available to
support the programme. Patrick is currently going into selected
primary schools to deliver taster session, he hopes to spark
interest to help develop regular session and CVL.

Devon is currently in transition with
Jamie Loveridge recently leaving to follow a teacher career.
The partnership are currently short listing applicant and
hoping to appoint a new Co-ordinator in the near future. The
programme, which has been running, has included a level 2
coaching course, coach mentoring and regular sessions with
competition.
Others
Both Sports West and Gloucestershire Active Sports Partnerships
have approached England Basketball with the hope of bringing
basketball online. I am currently in contact with the relevant
managers to try and push this along.
